Thankful for Trials

WELL! Thanksgiving is on top of us and it is time to prepare to put things on hold and fellowship around good food and the Lord’s love. It is great as a grandfather and father to have all your family around the table. It reminds me of how pleased our heavenly Father is when we take time to come around the table of His truth and presence. We are all in a warfare. We overcome by our words and actions. When we hold fast to the hope in Christ and His promises in the faith of Jesus blood to protect us. It is hating our life in the world of pride and lust and reaching to be like Him. You read in acts where they were thankful to be counted worthy to suffer for Jesus. James says demand it to be joy when we face trials. Facing the trails and seeing how the Lord brings us through will have us living in the expectation of seeing His glory come to past in all we face. It is the pressure of these trials that allow us to be a doer of the word and cast our care on Him because He takes care of us. It will grow us up in faith, and the truth will come to past in our lives that faith will always be the substance of what we expect. Paul found when He was weak through all the trails Christ strength was made perfect. Here is Leonard saying we will be strong in the Lord and power of His might when we come to the end of ourselves and go for Jesus. Have a thankful life and live it in His victory. Blessings!!!!
